- Highly specialized energy-absorbing foam and semi-flexible plastic outer edges scale forces as they extend past the rigid composite support panel, to distribute loads over the edges preventing digging under the arms.
- The smooth plastic outer layer will not damage the race suits.
- Able to protect using a very thin cross section, so does not interrupt the dimensions of the seat. The loose hips create more pressure on the ribs.
- The inner layer of Lycra provides a comfortable and non-abrasive surface for the driver, even when soaked in sweat.
