- At the heart of the SKV-R helmet is Arai's renowned safety philosophy, based on ESF (Egg Shaped Form) technology. Its outer shell adopts a shape as smooth and rounded as possible to promote sliding in the event of an impact. This design helps to limit the risk of getting caught in the ground or obstacles and to reduce rotational forces transmitted to the pilot's head.
- The helmet is equipped with the innovative VAS (Variable Axis System) visor system. By lowering the rotation point of the visor, Arai improves the structural strength of the shell at its top, while optimizing energy dissipation in the event of an impact.
