The main goal of the development of the KMX-5 V2 suit was maximum breathability and at the same time weight reduction. To achieve this, an all-new outer shell material, developed exclusively for Alpinestars, has been combined with a soft knit lining to provide optimal levels of protection, lightness and comfort. Innovative laser-cut perforations on the upper chest and back, and open-weave mesh structures on the sides of the torso, crotch and armholes, provide maximum airflow for cooling. The result is a suit that will keep you cool when the temperature rises, both in and out of the kart.

CONSTRUCTION:

  • Advanced two-layer construction assembly for optimized performance, improved breathability and weight savings.
  • Premium metal YKK zipper, plus double slider for a versatile and customizable fit.
  • Alpinestars' fully floating armrest structure with stretch knit fabric on the shoulders and lumbar area ensures minimal material resistance while riding.

KEY FEATURES:

  • New laser perforations on the upper chest and back for maximum airflow and increased breathability.
  • Strategically placed technical mesh panels on the armpits, sides of the torso and groin, for effective regulation of body temperature.
  • Designed to last with reinforced panels in the seat area and optimized to minimize material build-up.
  • The anatomical panels on the arms, legs and torso are molded to create the optimal position while riding.
  • Knitted wrists and ankles ensure a snug fit and help prevent unwanted movement of the suit.
  • Thigh pockets for convenient and discreet storage.
