KART T5VTi SEAT – THE SOFTEST AND MOST FLEXIBLE OPTION
The T5 kart seat is a World Championship winning product, used by Lando Norris.
The T5 shape is now predominantly used by younger or smaller riders.
This model has a flat bottom and a more upright rear position. The 63° back angle allows for a powerful shoulder turn, which helps very young riders.
With the T5 model, Tillett created the first "flat bottom" style seat. This innovation was eventually replicated by many other brands, as the iconic design feature offers a favorable performance advantage.
KEY FEATURES
- The T5 range offers four stiffnesses. T5 VTI is the softest and most flexible T5 stiffness available. See the image stiffness chart for a better understanding.
- The T5 model has a flat base and a 63° upright seating position for more power in the shoulders.
- The T5 VTi is the most popular T5 stiffness on offer, we typically find this model used by 60cc two-stroke racers, cadets and minikarts.

- Maximum rear wheel lift from models with a stiffer seat. Typically, we find VTI car seats to be the most popular because of their level of flexibility.

- For best results, we recommend pairing this seat with one of our Tillett P1 rib protectors.
- Most frames use a standard setup that includes additional seat stays. If you do not want to use them, we recommend that you mount the TK7 seat support plates on the main upper support points.
