The SP Shoe is FIA and SFI approved with an advanced design that includes: Alpinestars' new asymmetric lacing system for a support closure and a custom fit, in addition to laser perforations for breathability that are incorporated into an anatomically profiled shoe that also features Alpinestars' exclusive ultra-thin Formula 1-specific sole with a special non-slip weave and improved pedal feel.

CONSTRUCTION:

  • Main upper made of high-quality suede to ensure excellent levels of durability, comfort and fit.
  • Exclusive ultra-thin Alpinestars sole of Formula 1 specifications using Alpinestars exclusive lightweight rubber compound with special striped texture for better grip and feel on pedals in racing
  • The Alpinestars foot buttress features a multi-compound construction and an ergonomic polypropylene heel buttress, offering support, protection and stability, as well as a fireproof PU-integrated heel for comfort.
  • Para-aramid fiber tubular lining for excellent heat resistance, weight saving and strength.
  • Collar padding made of nitrile rubber for comfort and weight saving.

PROTECTION:

  • Complies with: FIA 8856-2018 and SFI 3.3/5

MAIN FEATURES:

  • The sleek profile of the shoe was developed in Formula 1 to deliver optimised levels of performance both in and out of the car.
  • The full tongue, sides and medial are made of perforated leather for improved ventilation and optimized breathability.
  • The asymmetrical toe design and locking system with traditional laces and hidden loops ensure a precise, safe and personalized fit.
  • Lightweight, micro-porous padding around the heel and insole increases comfort.

While designed for motor racing, this model is also suitable for use on karts, especially for training sessions or amateur use.
