The ATOM FIA ALPINESTARS Suit is a professional and lightweight racing garment, specifically designed for racing car drivers. This suit offers an optimal balance between protection, ventilation and comfort in the cabin. Approved according to the rigorous FIA 8856-2018 standards, it is essential for participating in motor racing and championships that require maximum safety. Its multi-layered construction provides excellent heat and flame resistance, while maintaining an ergonomic fit essential for the pilot's freedom of movement.
CONSTRUCTION:
- The ATOM Suit is made with a two-layer construction that optimizes protection and lightness, typical of racing suits:
- Outer Layer: Abrasion- and heat-resistant aramid fibers, essential for the racing car environment.
- Inner Layer (Lining): Aramid materials and flame-retardant fabrics for maximum comfort and effective body temperature management.
- Weight (Approximate): 440 g/m2 – a reduced weight to minimize fatigue during long driving sessions.
- Approval: FIA 8856-2018 (international safety certification for sports motor racing).
MAIN FEATURES:
- Maximum Safety: FIA approval 8856-2018, complying with the latest requirements for fire resistance in motor racing.
- Comfort in the cockpit: Ergonomic design with pre-curved arms and legs, designed for the pilot's sitting position, reducing material accumulation and pressure points.
- Elastic Panels for Driving: Post-lumbar elastic panel: Made of aramid mesh, it offers exceptional flexibility when the rider is sitting and tied to the seat. Shoulder panels: Designed to facilitate arm movement and integration with the HANS safety system.
