The 1.5mm thick lightweight clutch disc for TM engines is made of a special treated alloy that ensures the same durability as the original TM KART steel discs.
Main advantages:
- Weight reduction: a disc weighs only 60g versus the standard 180g. A 5-disc set reduces the total weight of the clutch assembly from 900g to 300g (66% savings)
- Lower rotating inertia: reducing the rotating masses results in a faster speed rise and better acceleration, without altering the maximum engine power. The effect is particularly effective on restarts from medium-slow curves and on very rubberized tracks
- Direct replacement: they completely replace the original TM KART steel driven discs
The following disc then replaces the original TM KART steel disc and when ordering, keep the following in mind:
- Order x4 discs for the following engines: K8, K9, K9-B, K9-C, KZ10
- Order x5 discs for the following engines: KZ10-B, KZ10-C, KZ-R1, KZ-R2 and KZ-R3
