The STORM chassis of the ENERGY CORSE brand is a competitive and technologically advanced MINI chassis, designed to offer optimal performance to young drivers thanks to its robotic construction, dedicated accessories and extensive adjustment possibilities.
KEY FEATURES:
- FRAME: the frame has a tube diameter of 28mm, compliant with MINIKART regulations. The welds are carried out using robots to guarantee production uniformity, unlike manual welds. The shape of the frame maintains the Energy design with a double curve of the side members at tank height, a configuration that has proven competitive in various grip conditions.
- BRAKING SYSTEM: the storm model introduces a new braking system, in fact the heart is the monobloc caliper machined from solid; solution which, compared to the previous version made up of two assembled half-shells, allows for an increase in rigidity and a decrease in weight.
- ACCESSORIES: the standard accessories are made of aluminium. The chassis also includes specific accessories to adapt to the needs of young drivers. The model is equipped with KG MK20 fairings.
- STANDRAD TRIM: For trim, the front height is adjustable by thicknesses on the spindles. At the rear, the STORM chassis offers three positions to adjust the height from the ground on the bearing shell supports (with the central position as the standard trim), allowing the rear axle to be raised or lowered by 7mm. This adjustment is facilitated by four screws (two upper with slot and two lower with three predefined holes), making setup changes quick.
