Bell KC7-CMR White is the reference helmet for karting, SNELL-FIA CMR 2016 approved, mandatory for all young drivers participating in official competitions.
The "International Karting Commission", the FIA authority (CIK-FIA), has established that all pilots under the age of 15 must use helmets with specific CMR approval. For pilots up to 18 years of age, although not strictly mandatory, the use of a CMR helmet is strongly recommended for safety and weight reasons; alternatively, the use of helmets with SA or K approval remains mandatory.
The Snell-FIA CMR 2016 (Children's Motorsport Helmet) approval was developed to ensure that children engaged in motorsport wear a helmet proportionate to their physical structure. A "reduced" adult helmet is not suitable for the geometry of a child's head; therefore, the CMR standard only accepts helmets designed for a maximum head circumference of 60cm. The standard also sets strict weight limits: a maximum of 1300 grams for sizes 57-59cm and 1100 grams for sizes under 49cm (with a visor mounted).

The KC7-CMR is the ultimate ultralight helmet for karting. The main features are:
- Advanced ventilation system: consisting of as many as 14 aeration channels and in/out extraction points, designed to maximize internal airflow and keep the pilot cool even in the hottest conditions.
- DSAF (Double Screen Anti-Fog) visor: 2mm thick, equipped with a double anti-fog lens for perfect visibility in all weather conditions (not interchangeable with RS7 series models).
- Aerodynamic design: shell optimised to reduce lift (lift) and improve stability at high speeds, directly inspired by the helmets of F1 drivers.
- Synthetic rubber gasket: positioned around the visor opening to prevent water, dust and debris from entering the helmet.
- Composite calotte: Made by hand-laminating carbon, Kevlar, and fiberglass to provide superior structural strength with minimal weight.
- Comfort and Fit: Non-fireproof interiors specifically designed for karting, for a comfortable fit and long-lasting durability.
- Spoilers and Accessories: Ready to fit front/rear spoilers and additional air intakes for complete aerodynamic customization.
- Weight: about 1185 grams.
