The GP-7, successor to the legendary GP-6 - one of the most successful helmets in Arai’s history - is finally available.
The helmet will be SUPPLIED WITH TRANSPARENT VISOR.
APPROVAL SNELL 8858/2020, which guarantees maximum lightness.
- Conforms to the SNELL SA2020 Standard and FIA 8859-2015 Approval. The outer shell is made using the Complex Laminate Construction technique to which has been added - as an additional reinforcement - the Arai Peripheral Belt, able to maximize the rigidity, resistance and ability to divert energy of the shell.
- The realization of outer shells as smooth, resistant and rounding possible, is a common feature to all Arai. This construction philosophy, allows us to increase the ability of the helmet to divert the energy of an impact maximizing the level of protection that is able to offer. We know that all the energy that we can divert thanks to the outer shell, will not then be absorbed by the inner shell, greatly increasing the maximum absorption capacity of each Arai.
- The Arai multi-density inner shell is made of a single piece (world exclusive) and its combination with the PB-cLc outer shell has allowed us to create a case with unmatched characteristics.
- The different densities of the EPS and the monoblock structure allow us to maintain a uniform thickness at any point of the helmet and to create a shell that fits perfectly to the rider’s head, increasing comfort, visibility and energy absorption capacity.
- The new generation of Facial Contour System-2 (FCS-2) pillows ensure an unprecedented level of comfort by wrapping the jaw area firmly without creating annoying pressure points and minimising noise intrusion from the lower part of the helmet. They are also removable, washable and available in different thicknesses to perfectly fit the specific needs of each rider.
- Threaded holes for installation of the FHR M6 anchor (optional) are integrated into the shell and allow quick and safe installation. Arai GP-7 is also equipped with a removable chin strap for the use of a hydration system. As well as the GP-7 SRC, the GP-7 (FRP) has 7 air intakes at the top of the shell: two front TDF3 ducts, three central Tear Ducts extractors and two rear XDB Duct extractors with the addition of the chin vent to optimize the flow of air passing through the inside of the helmet and always keep the rider’s head cool. The Variable Axis System (VAS) is designed to lower the rotation fulcrum of the visor allowing us to further strengthen the outer shell in the temple area without compromising the operation of the visor.
- Low profile anchor screws can be adjusted with a T20 torx wrench included in the package.
