AirPro air density meter for optimization of combustion 2 and 4 stroke engines.
Designed specifically for two- and four-stroke engines, the AirPro densitometer measures:
- Temperature
- Pressure
- Relative humidity
- Relative altitude
- Density of the air
What does air density indicate?
In technical terms, air density is the amount of air mass present per unit volume in a given environment. It is influenced by three main factors:
- Atmospheric pressure: a higher atmospheric pressure compresses the air molecules, increasing their density.
- Air temperature: higher temperatures cause air molecules to expand, reducing their density, while lower temperatures increase it.
- Relative humidity: moist air is less dense than dry air.
Air density in motorsport...
It is a critical parameter because:
- Determines the amount of oxygen available for combustion in engines.
- Directly affects the carburetion and air-fuel ratio, which in turn affects engine power.
The instrument stores session data, allowing you to optimize your fuel flow according to environmental conditions and thus improve engine performance.
Wireless connection via the Prisma Electronics app to view and export all stored sessions.
