From the beginnings of karting to today, MyChron has always been a faithful companion for drivers and teams looking for higher performance. Today, the evolution in these 30 years of MyChron - with the continuous integration of ever more advanced technologies, such as high-precision GPS, Bluetooth connectivity, the second CAN for additional sensors and long-life battery - is turning the new MyChron6 into a powerful data centre, able to provide ever more accurate and detailed information from different inputs.
MyChron6 is much more than a simple GPS laptimer, it proposes as a complete data center for your kart, sample and show:

TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS:
Five fully configurable RGB LEDs
You will choose the thresholds of color and value for their activation. Also, they can be configured to show your best lap/intertime time, monitor the lap level and even indicate the right time to change gears.
Two configurable RGB LED alarms
Customize the behavior of alarm LEDs based on water temperature or other parameters.
Dedicated pages and excellent screen clarity
MyChron6 has a large graphic display of 320x136 pixels to have all the essential data under control. With the new pages, intermediate times, overall delta time and heart rate will be monitored in a simple and timely manner. The screen can be backlit in one of eight colours. The built-in light sensor makes brightness and contrast ideal in any light condition; MyChron6’s display will always be readable and clear even in the most intense phases of competition.
You’ll be your own coach
The screen features a new page layout focused exclusively on your main goal: beat your best time, every lap. The new layout, characterized by the value of the delta and the relative bargraph with respect to the reference turn, guarantees a constant visibility of this key element. Allows for immediate and effective coaching, clearly highlighting areas of improvement and those that require further attention.
Bluetooth connectivity
Experience seamless connectivity with MyChron6’s new advanced Bluetooth module. If you want to measure your heart rate while running, connect the heart rate monitor via Bluetooth to your MyChron6 and view the data on the screen or analyse it after a race. Compatible with the most popular heart rate monitors and cardio bands on the market.
WiFi
Easy wireless data download via Wi-Fi: no need for flash drives or PC connections. Update your device via Wi-Fi to ensure it always has the latest features and improvements.
CAN additional
The second CAN is dedicated to the connection of external modules requiring CAN communication protocols.
Dedicated storage
The USB-C connector not only allows you to charge the logger, but also stores all data in the optional dedicated 16 GB memory module.
3D accelerations and gyroscope
The inertial platform (IMU) with 6 axes and 100 Hz measures the acceleration in the forward-backward, up-down and right-left directions and the angular speed in the direction of pitch, roll and yaw of the kart, then calculates and transmits this information in real time to MyChron6 to check the engine and chassis behaviour to assist the pilot.
Enhanced GPS
MyChron6 is equipped with a high-precision 25 Hz internal receiver using four satellite navigation systems (GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo) and an internal database that includes information on the track: As soon as it is switched on, it automatically recognises the track and gets information about the starting line position and time zone. The accuracy of calculated lap times is 1/100 second.
Track database
MyChron6 can recognize the goal coordinates of thousands of circuits around the world. Opening RaceStudio 3 you will see the huge list of circuits included in the Aim database, sorted by country, circuit and surface type: you will be able to create your own collection, adding/removing circuits. If your home circuit should be absent no problem: after a ride its coordinates will be detected automatically by the GPS of your MyChron6 and if you wish - once downloaded on your PC - they will be sent to the department software Aim to be included in the database.
Up to 20 hours of battery life
MyChron6 will be your reliable companion on the track without the need for recharging. Thanks to the large high-performance lithium battery pack and low-power electronics, it will guarantee you up to 20 hours of autonomy.
Data recall
At the end of the test, the sampled data can be retrieved. With MyChron6 the data recall is available in two race types: road and oval (the latter only available in the USA version).
You will have all the information of the tests carried out, with different pages and dedicated views, on the best lap times, the best intertempi, the best lap time and the best theoretical lap, RPM chart and histograms.
RaceStudio 3 analysis
Your data can be downloaded (via cable, Wi-Fi or Mini USB memory) and analysed in depth on your PC with the RaceStudio 3 software: tables, graphs and histograms will help you understand your performance and find out what needs improvement.
You can compare data that cannot be displayed on the display, with numerous dedicated views such as split report, channel report, videos captured by SmartyCam automatically synchronized and much more, even comparing different sessions between them.
RS3 always with you
Now all the features of RaceStudio 3 are available on your smartphone to manage the following features of your MyChron6:

In addition, the brand new multi-platform app (Apple iOS® and Google Android®) is available, designed to have at hand and easily manageable the main features of RaceStudio 3, allowing you to manage your Aim devices via Wi-Fi, Monitor all the channels you want, allowing you to analyze the values recorded during track sessions through detailed maps and charts.
