For the construction of its new chassis signed Kart Republic, Dino Chiesa has relied on Breda Racing, a company that boasts thirty years of experience in the manufacture of equipment and components for racing cars. The first result of this collaboration is the KR1 chassis: the chassis was in fact specially designed for gear karts, with an innovative geometry studied ad hoc by Dino Chiesa. The main feature of this chassis is the important diameter of the tubes, all 32 millimetres, to guarantee maximum stability and resistance, fundamental characteristics for karts that have to withstand the typical kickbacks of gear engines. In this frame is concentrated all the long experience of Dino Chiesa in the world of karting: the use of materials of the highest quality, combined with meticulous and expert design, led to the birth of a chassis that can guarantee maximum performance in any situation. The aerodynamics of the fairings, which is often overlooked by kart manufacturers, has been studied to perfection here, and allows you not to lose even a fraction of a second. The innovative AP-RACE 06 braking system guarantees an optimal level of safety, and also gives the possibility to recover valuable meters in detached.
This particular frame with 30mm diameter tubes is specifically designed for the new ROTAX DD2 engine; gearbox engine with shifters positioned behind the steering wheel; gives a new exciting driving experience on your kart.
