Bringing features derived from Formula 1, along with specific innovations for the kart track, the new Tech-1 KX V2 is now lighter and breathable with a revised asymmetric lacing system to adhere more closely to the foot. The use of a thin PU film increases durability while reducing seam construction and pressure points. The laser cuts and perforations in the film, combined with the 3D mesh, offer maximum breathability.
CONSTRUCTION:
- Advanced seamless heat-welded construction is composed of ultra-thin PU film and 3D mesh to offer extremely lightweight performance and excellent comfort and fit.
- The new construction of the super light tongue, which combines synthetic suede and 3D mesh, ensures excellent breathability and superior comfort.
- The collar padding is made of polyurethane foam to ensure comfort and weight savings.
MAIN FEATURES:
- Elegant shoe profile that adapts to the anatomy of the foot and guarantees an excellent fit and performance.
- Laser-cut vents and perforations on the upper, with 3D mesh on the tongue provide excellent breathability and comfort.
- The double asymmetrical closure system includes a thin adjustable velcro strap and an aramid quick-lacing system with the exclusive Alpinestars wire fastening system. The system strategically wraps the foot for optimal support and offers a precise fit and secure closure.
- The soft microfiber collar is cut lower in the back to offer more comfort to the Achilles heel and a better range of movement.
- Lightweight heel and sole construction in one piece for increased heel stability and comfort while riding.
- The exclusive thin rubber outsole of Alpinestars, derived from the program Formula 1 Race, offers unsurpassed levels of sensitivity and feeling with the pedals, while the texture pattern ensures optimal levels of grip.
- External reinforcements on the heel, ankle and internal on the toe for abrasion resistance and protection.
