Brake oil
The brake fluid for Kart is essential to operate the calipers through the hydraulic circuit. Composed mainly of glycols, ethers, mineral oils and silicones, it is classified according to thermal resistance and stability.
The DOT 4 and DOT 5 liquids are the most widely used: the DOT 5 offers a higher boiling point, but absorbs more moisture. Remember to handle it with care to avoid damage to other parts of the Kart!
