MOTUL DOT 3&4 high performance brake oil

100% synthetic brake fluid based on polyglycol for all types of brakes with hydraulic clutch control in accordance with the DOT 4 and DOT 3 recommendations of the Manufacturers Miscible with DOT 3, DOT 4 and DOT 5,1 NON SILICONE BASED products. Dry boiling point: 245°C.

The high boiling point (245°C/473°F), higher than conventional DOT 3 fluids (205°C/401°F minimum), allows braking efficiency to be maintained even when the brakes are extremely solicited.

The high wet boiling point (158°C/316°F), higher than conventional DOT 3 liquids (140°C/284°F minimum), allows the product to be used longer. DOT 3, DOT 4 and DOT 5.1 brake fluids in fact have a tendency to absorb humidity from the air, a phenomenon which causes a lowering of the boiling point and consequently braking safety. The wet boiling point is representative for the fluid after one year of use. Completely neutral with the linings used in brake systems. Anti-corrosion.
