The TM KZ-R2 is the evolution of the TM KZ-R1 engine and is able to satisfy the most demanding and talented riders all over the world! The strong point of the TM KZ-R2 is certainly its power, but certainly maintenance does not go unnoticed since TM recommends replacing the piston in NON-competitive use approximately every 50/60 liters of use. Concerning: connecting rod head cage; coupling axle and shims, replacement is recommended after about 60 liters of use. As far as the main bearings are concerned, with roller bearings the duration is equal to that of an entire sporting season of use (about 350/400 litres).
As regards the small end cage, it must be replaced after about 60 liters of use;. It is recommended to replace the connecting rod after about 130 liters of use. Are you looking for a powerful, reliable and low maintenance engine? TM KZ-R2, is the only answer!
