KART REPUBLIC KR2 DD2 chassis (ROTAX) 2024

For the construction of its new chassis by Kart Republic, Dino Chiesa relied on Breda Racing, a company that boasts thirty years of experience in the construction of equipment and components for racing cars. The first fruit of this collaboration is the KR1 chassis: the chassis was created exquisitely for shifter karts, with an innovative geometry designed ad hoc by Dino Chiesa. A fundamental feature of this chassis is the important diameter of the tubes, all at 32 millimeters, to ensure maximum stability and resistance, fundamental features for karts that have to withstand the typical kickbacks of gear motors. All of Dino Chiesa's long experience in the karting universe is concentrated in this body: the use of top quality materials, combined with meticulous and expert design, have led to the birth of a frame that can guarantee maximum performance in any situation. The aerodynamics of the fairings, which are often neglected by kart builders, have been studied to perfection here, and allow not to waste even a fraction of a second. The innovative AP-RACE 06 braking system guarantees an optimal level of safety, and also gives the possibility of recovering precious meters when braking.

This particular chassis is specifically designed for the new ROTAX DD2 engine; gear motor with the shift paddles positioned behind the steering wheel, give a new exciting driving experience on your kart.
